Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026. The short version: this site has no accounts and nothing to sign up for. We count visitors in aggregate so we know what Hyderabad wants more of — we cannot see who you are.
No accounts, no logins
Happy Hyderabad is a public website. You do not create an account, choose a password, or log in to read anything here, and we do not ask for your name, address or payment details anywhere on this site. Our community listings are posted for readers by our team — readers themselves never submit personal details through a form on this website.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and sends us anonymous, aggregate statistics: which pages are viewed, roughly which city or country a visit comes from, and what type of device was used. It does not give us your name or anything that identifies you personally, and we use these numbers only to decide what to publish and to fix what is not working. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work.
Advertising
We may show advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. We do not control which specific ads appear and we never receive your personal details from advertisers. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings and learn more about how advertising cookies work — and how to opt out with other providers — at aboutads.info.
Links to other services
This site links out — to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and official government and hospital resources, among others. The moment you follow one of those links, that service's own privacy policy applies, not ours. We choose our links carefully, but we are not responsible for how other services handle your information.
When you message us on WhatsApp
If you contact us on WhatsApp — to post a listing, nominate a Builder, send a tip or ask a question — we see your phone number and your message inside WhatsApp. We use them only to reply to you and, where you have asked us to publish something, to put up what you sent. We do not add your number to marketing lists and we do not pass it to advertisers.
We do not sell personal information
Plainly: we do not sell, rent or trade personal information about our readers to anyone. There is very little of it here to begin with, and what reaches us stays with the small team that runs this site.
Questions about this policy
If anything here is unclear, or you would like us to remove a listing or a post that mentions you, message us on WhatsApp at +91 96422 60099 and we will sort it out.
