🏗️ A Happy Hyderabad Saturday series

Builders of Hyderabad

They are still among us. The teacher who has coached poor children free for thirty years. The doctor who never turns the poor away. The volunteers who feed thousands outside our hospitals every single day. Hyderabad's living legends — unknown, unsung, and still serving. Every Saturday, we recognise one person — and the idea behind them that keeps this city human.

Our first living legend

A Hyderabadi who has spent a lifetime serving this city without ever asking for the spotlight. On Saturday morning we publish their story — the person, the service, and the idea behind them — here and on our Facebook and Instagram.

A new legend joins this wall of honour every week.

How we honour them

A person, and the idea behind them

Recognition here is more than a name on a list. Each story carries the person's work to thousands of Hyderabadis — so others can join the idea, support it, or start their own. A free school inspires a second free school. A lifetime of blood donation inspires a hundred new donors. That is how a city is built.

The rotation

Twelve fields of service

We move field by field so no corner of the city's service is forgotten — and so every community that serves Hyderabad finds its people here.
